Reservations and Payments 

• All rentals require a prepaid reservation through our online booking system or by calling our store. 

• Payment is due in full at the time of booking to secure your reservation. 

• We accept major credit cards and other forms of payment as indicated during the booking process.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance of the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund, except in cases of inclement weather.

• Cancellations made less than 4 hours in advance will be charged a $10 cancellation fee per item rented.

• No-shows will be charged 50% of the full rental fee per item rented.

Inclement Weather Policy

• In the event of inclement weather that makes the rental activity unsafe or impractical, Get Outside KY reserves the right to cancel reservations. (Inclement weather is that which produces heavy rain, hail, high winds, hailstones, thunderstorms, and/or lightning. Light rain, clouds, fog, and overcast skies is not considered inclement weather.)

• If Get Outside KY cancels a reservation due to weather, customers who booked 24 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund or be given the option to reschedule their appointment on another day and time slot.

• Customers who booked less than 12 hours in advance may be offered a reschedule or a partial refund at Get Outside KY's discretion and the local weather report. 

Same-Day Reservations

• Same-day reservations are subject to availability and cannot be canceled or refunded due to weather conditions.

Other Conditions

• Get Outside KY reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We do not condone the consumption of alcoholic beverages or the use of drugs while using our equipment.

• This disclaimer information is in addition to, and does not supersede, the terms and conditions outlined in the Get Outside KY Liability Release Form and Waiver.

By making a reservation with Get Outside KY, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this disclaimer information.

Additional Information

• Our standard rental period is 1 to 2 or more hours.

• Late returns may be subject to additional hourly fees. Rental fees are not prorated they begin and end on the hour. 

• Customers are not charged when equipment is taken out 15 to 25 minutes early when it is available.

• Customers are responsible for arriving 20 -30 minutes prior to their reserved time slot for a safety check.

• Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received. Damaged equipment may be charged to a customer's account depending on the circumstances. Customers are responsible for accidental damage to equipment while using it.

Agreement

1. Condition of Equipment: Renter acknowledges that the equipment is in good working condition and agrees to return it in the same condition, except for reasonable wear and tear.

2. Liability: Renter assumes all risk of injury or damage associated with the use of the equipment. Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Get Outside KY harmless from any liability arising from the use of the equipment by completing our Liability Release and Waiver Form online.

3. Payment: Renter agrees to pay the full rental fee based on the amount of time they use the equipment starting at the top of the hour. 

4. Late Return: Renter agrees to return the equipment by the specified return time. Late returns may be subject to additional fees minimally charged in one hour increments.

5. Cancellation: Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance of the rental time will receive a full refund, except in cases of inclement weather. Cancellations made less than 4 hours in advance will be charged a $10 cancellation fee per item rented. No-shows can be charged 50% or $10 whichever is greater of the full rental fee per item rented.

6. Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Your "Signature" on the is implicit on the "Rental Agreement" based upon prepayment for your  equipment with a credit card or cash.
